Easy

This morning I got out of bed at silly o'clock and took the first train of the day to Rennes, and then an early train to Nantes, and then a shuttle bus to the airport, then an aeroplane (not this one), and then another shuttle bus to arrive at a hotel in Portugal for a week long work meeting. I was a bit exhausted when I arrived, but my connections went well and nothing went wrong.

My airline ticket cost less than my train ticket - which itself was modest by comparison with a train ticket in the UK. There is something wrong with that...
