The Village Church at Acton, near Sudbury

Another day,  another country walk - and another village church, which was unfortunately locked. This was not totally surprising since it houses the third oldest monumental brass in the country, that of Sir Robert de Bures (1302). This has been described by the Victoria and Albert Museum as "the finest military brass in existence". I'd like to see it one day.
