Calm

The parents were home soon after I had pulled myself out of bed.

They were both exhausted and spent a lot of the day curled up on the sofa. I took my book into the back room and managed a good amount of reading. Well done me.

Dad and I took a drive to the garden centre where he bought me this lovely bedroom plant. I love to have flowers in my room but buying a bunch for myself always seems a little..lonely. So instead I got a plant that will last as long as I love it and it is completely mine.
We took a drive to the river on the way home which was nice.

Tonight we ate too much and fell asleep early.
Tomorrow I leave for uni and I'm not quite ready to go.
