Crinkle Gill

Always somewhere very very special to visit. The thumbnail crop is to give a sense of scale to this spectacular place. With the water really low we were boulder hoping and scrambling all of the way. Even the "thou shalt not pass pool" was passable! One of us by climbing a surprisingly difficult boulder problem, nearly slipping, getting a wet foot.... And one of us by paddling across the (currently) shallow side of the pool with their boots around their neck.
With great age comes great wisdom... Though sometimes, apparently, age turns up on it's own.
