A much better work day today, hooray!

We had our monthly breakfast meeting this morning, so tasks have been delegated to various members of the team.

Our newest recruit is taking over the Instagram account, so she and another girl have been tik-toking (nope, me neither!) most of the afternoon.

The trainee seems much more settled and much happier as well this week, I hope that continues as she’s a good kid at heart.

We’ve had a bride to be in today. She originally booked her fiancé in for treatment but then decided she wanted tooth whitening too, so also booked in. When her Mum found this out, she also booked in with us for whitening!
We have a ‘refer a friend’ policy, where we give away a fancy electric toothbrush to patients who refer two friends, so this lovely lady certainly qualified for that.

However, I went rogue on this one as I felt the toothbrush was a bit impersonal. So instead, I put together a pamper pack for her with a lovely face mask and bath bomb in our branded jute bag, along with a branded candle and lip balm.
The brief was for her to pop her whitening trays in for an hour, while she had a bit of ‘me time’ in the bath. You can’t have a bath without bubbles, so I added a small bottle of Prosecco for good measure.
Not that we advocate drinking, but that’s got to be better than chocolate, right?!

She was absolutely thrilled with it and hopefully will tell her friends and family to generate more patients for us.

We did want to get a photo of her for the ‘gram, but she didn’t want to be featured.

It was going to be another marina blip until I got to my car. Sadly, this isn’t silk…..it’s seagull shit!!
