Empty space
Now that that my old asbestos-ridden shed is gone, it's wonderful to have this big space near my greenhouse.
It means that the greenhouse plants will finally get afternoon sun (although there hasn't been that much sun over the last 2 days!).
It's just unfortunate that this comes just before a cold snap - the greenhouse used to benefit from being sheltered between two sheds. I put bubblewrap around less hardy plants last night. No hard frosts are forecast, just lower temperatures and cloudy weather. Hope all my greenhouse plants weather this storm before the warm weather settles in properly!
As for this space, I have plans that involve a much smaller shed with a metal roof, gutters connecting the greenhouse and new shed to the same waterbutt, corner windows, a lean-to and sheltered sitting area. And climbers and lavender. Who knows, I might even sit down on the plot oneday!!
