Just visiting

I had a choice of blips today but went for this very positive sign of spring.

It wasn't in my garden. I went out for lunch at The Queens, Belbroughton. This is a superb pub/restaurant which is owned and run by
Andy Waters - recently featured in Great British Chefs. He recently moved there from Edmunds in the centre of Birmingham where he had won a Michelin star.

The food was delicious - and VERY reasonably priced. (And Andy Waters was chatting to the people at the table next to us.)
He did tell me the recipe for this delicious
Goat's cheese panna cotta which was a magnificent starter.
My main course was a wonderful plaice in an orange sauce (but a piece of fish looks like a piece of fish...)
The other culinary highlight for me was the
Pistachio Tiramisu with raspberries and raspberry compote

Meanwhile, back in my garden the
Magnolia is thinking about it

Maybe the blooms will be blipped shortly ?
