Tulips

I wanted to call this 'Three Jolly Jokers' but then I thought that Jolly Jokers are pansies not tulips. It's tulip time in my garden. Some have finished, some are yet to flower and the majority, like these zingy specimens, are in full bloom. I love them all and you can look forward, in eager anticipation or dreaded boredom, to more tulip blips from me.

Last night's meeting went well and has left me with some follow up today but not too much. My main focus is clearing out underneath a holly tree for some shade tolerant planting. It's a sore business getting rid of holly and the brown bin is full to bursting.

It's a beautiful day so I'm hoping to minimise time at the desk and maximise time in the garden.
