North Cornwall Coast Path

A walk this afternoon along the North Cornwall coast path between Morgan Porth and Watergate Bay. Huge clumps of sea pinks and vetch. Also sea campion and spring squill. No less impressive was the bird life. The highlight was without doubt the choughs with their long, red, curved beaks. Once extinct in Cornwall, they have made a remarkable comeback and can now be seen on both the north and south coast.
