Peace Garden

Met MT at Lauriston Castle & enjoyed sitting outside watching some folk playing croquet, catching up & of course a cuppa and a slice of goodness (cake).

I then had walk myself round the grounds & the cherries are in blossom in the Kyoto Peace Garden. Sat for a wee while at the Well to enjoy the birds chirping.

Also had a look at how the Forget-me-not Garden & how it is progressing. A garden for carers & those with dementia. Raised beds planted up with tulips & flowers. Even a bus stop. Awaiting a red telephone box as yet. Paths for wheelchairs & mobility scooters. Lots happening to make changes.

Bus home again, good that many, like me, still wearing masks on public transport, makes feel a bit more at ease travelling.
