Narcissists

To clear up any confusion, jonquils are daffodils but not all daffodils are jonquils, yet both are narcissuses, as are narcissus • LoL • We visited our favorite plant store to pick up a few things, both needed and wanted. I needed a larger flower pot and supports for an indoor plant that needs repotting. Maybe Germaine will show off her new digs in a future blip; we wanted a couple of packs of pansies to brighten up the patio/front door area - a mixture of yellow and blue in honor of Ukraine • Today was also grocery shopping day which lately brings sticker shock. It’s astonishing how much our grocery bill has increased over the past five months for just two of us, plus three cats, lots of birds, squirrels and too many deer. We’re fortunate to be able to buy whatever we need and want, unlike many others. Along with energy costs, rising monthly rentals and mortgages, and increased interest rates…tougher times are still ahead, and it’s worrisome • Thank goodness we have our wildlife, gardens and blip to keep us joyful • Peace & Love
