Branklyn and Glendoick Gardens

Had a lovely day out with the Chelsea Ladies. I drove four of us from Edinburgh and we met my mum at Branklyn Garden in Perth. My mum and I have visited many times but it was the first time for the others. It is an absolute gem of a garden that never disappoints. Today the sun was shining and the rhododendrons were in full bloom. We even saw a few meconopsis. We sat and enjoyed tea and cake on the lawn.
We then headed to Glendoick gardens  which are only open in April and May. Again there was so much colour from the rhododendrons. We had a very late lunch in the garden centre and I bought a grow bag for my tomatoes.
All in a very enjoyable day!
