Watts Chapel, Compton, Surrey (2)

It was a lovely afternoon (yes, it was) and I took a little drive to the Watts Gallery to see a little exhibition of paintings by ''The Last Pre-Raphaelite' artist - Eleanor Fortescue-Brickdale. She couldn't be anything else with a name like that , could she ?

The pic is not of anything done by her but another one of the very richly decorated Watts Chapel next door - all the decoration being made by Mary Watts, GF Watts' wife and the local residents of Compton.

Then I had a cheese scone and a cuppa in the remodelled (sadly) cafe !
