Heading home
We made it home today in record time. We stopped along the way at a little diner. It was very retro and the food was delish. We found the cold frame in need of water but it did very well on its own. Looks like my cuttings have all taken root and the seedlings are ready to be transplanted. The cold crops in the garden beds have really grown and the lettuce is ready for the table! The tulips I planted last fall are beautiful although some bloomed while we were away and we missed them.
The days ahead are already filled up. Second part of my root canal tomorrow. On a very sad note our beloved friend Mr. Holden passed away while we were away. His service will be Tuesday. We sure are going to miss him.
