Ways to play with a scooter - No 83

Except for the odd occasion with our grand daughter this was our first full day on grand parenting duties while Chris was working.

It wasn’t entirely successful to begin with. Landon didn’t want to leave his dad to go anywhere with us. Understandable really, he’s only spent a few hours with us.

As the day went on he grew more trusting and engaging. He stayed with us, bribed with a few gummy bears, while dad went back for soccer shoes. In the afternoon he and I had great fun in the pool and this evening grandad, dad and grandson spent an hour out in the yard playing all manner of games.

Perhaps tomorrow and the next few days we’ll be able to do more with him on his own.
