Floofy Friday

A quick trip to RHS Hyde Hall this morning as it was the start of their 4 day Spring craft fair and - shock horror - we bought nothing!!  It seemed a lot smaller than recent years so I don't know whether there are less craft stall holders out there, or more craft fairs going on at the same time so they can't be in different places at the same time but it didn't take long to wander round the tents at all.

So that meant a bit of time to walk round the very quiet gardens and was delighted to see the geese had 6 floofy little babies who were keeping mum and dad on their toes as they were heading off in all different directions!  Very cute!

And this afternoon, despite the cold and cloudy weather, I managed a bit of gardening - planted some recent purchases out in the front garden, sowed some veg seeds and also got the lawn cut ahead of No Mow May! Any excuse not to cut the grass is fine by me!!
