Las Palmas Residence

I am once again taking project shots for a Zihuatanejo architect, today at a development called Las Palmas located on Playa Blanca. Ten units are completed, of which nine are sold, and ten are being constructed, with four remaining available. There are stunning views of a 30 km beach from every unit and beautiful amenities throughout. My client designed one of the completed penthouse's kitchens, which is shown here. The were many challenges with this shoot: huge contrast between the off-white walls and dark wood cabinets, major reflections from the black marble backsplash, and a large amount of "stuff" throughout. Fortunately my wife was along to style the "stuff" and hold an occasional fill light. I am hoping to return when the light is a bit more favorable to capture the view from the spacious room.
