Arriving at Cayo Santa Maria!

This was taken from the bus that brought us to the island of Santa Maria, from the airport at Santa Clara, by way of a 45km long causeway. This was our first glimpse of how vast and beautiful this place is!

It was a long day, leaving a very cold and dark Halifax at 3.30am. But it didn't feel to bad once we arrived at our lovely resort.
