A is for apple blossom

Anyone else remember the Flower Fairies books by Cicely Mary Barker?  I definitely remember having the Alphabet of Flower Fairies as a child.  Apparently the books were first published in 1923 (I'm not that old!)   The complete set of 8 books from the Folio Society now costs £90.
