Book club

A 1996 book by PDJames caught my eye because it is set in 2021. Is it science fiction, or a dystopian vision? The problems depicted in this novel are very different to the problems inflicted on the world by the pandemic but I shudder to think that there some parallels in the governances we have to endure.
