Bertie the explorer

Another beautiful day, although it was a tad chilly first thing with a ground frost on the back lawn. It was a delight to walk through the woods in the morning sun with the birds singing all around us, a woodpecker (great spotted) drilling nearby and a cuckoo not too far away. Bertie was sure there were deer nearby too, but I never saw them.
