Grumpy John

Saw an old friend today, local historian John. We walked past the recently refurbished Pioneers Museum, dear to his heart as the birthplace of the modern co-operative movement, not just co-op shops but an international business model. However when I asked if I could take his picture he insisted on showing his dislike of the new extension - apparently it's just "a staircase and a cloakroom".

He is usually a very amenable person, as am I except when various bits of office equipment decide not to work, from computers (obviously) and photocopiers (also obviously) to staplers. Couple of days out of the office now so hopefully I will have calmed down by Monday.
