New growth

After being away for two days, and then the last two day out for much of the day, the garden was calling today. We both spent much of the day outside - weeding, digging over beds, generally neatening up, and starting to put mulch down. We never got round to mulching last year, and the beds looked the worse for it. By late afternoon, we decided we’d had enough - our backs were complaining - and in any case we had choir. Fortunately we had some left overs to heat up, so all I needed to do was do some vegetables to go with it. Having come in from the garden, I realized I hadn’t got a blip yet, so I just took a quick photo of the fresh new leaves on our oak tree.
