Celebration of May Day beginning

May Day is a celebration day in the late spring as well as International Workers' Day.

This year you can hear the day called free May Day, because the Covid-19 pandemic seems to be alleviating after two years. Hope so.

At least here in Finland we almost pray for good weather for May Day.  How funny that even Wikipedia tells statistics about May Day weather in Finland:
"May Day weather varies from year to year. Three out of four moths are sunny in Finland, and every second is very sunny. Daytime temperatures on May Day vary between 5–20 degrees in Southern Finland and 0–15 degrees in Lapland. The most common daytime temperature is about 11–12 degrees in the south and about 5–6 degrees in Lapland. Snow or sleet rains in Southern Finland only once every ten May Day and even then usually at night. In Lapland, on the other hand, snowfall is a common sight around May Day, although during the day the rain often turns into sleet or water. The border of a more uniform snow cover normally runs around May Day from the northern part of North Karelia to the bottom of the Gulf of Bothnia."

Anyway, hope we all here and there can have some celebration and rejoice it:)
