MATTHEW'S BIRTHDAY CAKE

Well the day finally arrived.  He has been looking forward to his 39th birthday for ages, only because he had requested and chosen some more books.

I don't usually make cakes but I was pleased the coffee and walnut cake which he requested tasted good.

The day was sunny but cool so even though we started off in shorts we soon reverted back to jeans.

Today we are having our first BBQ with some Pimms again as requested by him.
