School Friend in Limburg

Not a lot of time to post today as we are making the long trip back from Limburg in South Netherlands to Calais and on to Lincoln. However after 45 years we met up again with my 6th form best friend Evert and his wife Angela. Much reminiscing on how life has treated us - Evert recently had a heart attack but is on his way to full recovery after surgery - we both played in a band together and shared a lot of similar musical tastes - and still do. Had a lovely meal and breakfast the next morning - we were able to sleep in the van in their drive. For comparison extra is our class photo - Evert is the third from the left sitting down on the front row and I am the first on the left in the middle row.
