Flower Friday (Friday 29th April 2022)

Hotdiggity Gardens was here this morning in the form of the estimable Refna who, after applying first aid to the Front Yard pots that I'd neglected (having strained some muscles last week), continued work at the very top of the garden, readying the old fernery and adjoining areas for the next stage and emptying the trailer of the earth we'd transported, ready for me to acquire the gravel needed for the next stage. She also put a stone border around a climbing rose in the old fernery.

I took some photographs, mostly of the wildflowers in the garden and on the driveway growing beside the outbuilding. The green alkanet in the Front Yard is looking very healthy, and lots of vigorous borage has just come up on the drive. Thursday's dandelion remains sun-like in its power but on the drive another one has turned into a clock. Both borage and dandelion flowers are edible and we sampled both during the morning.
