North York Moors

This morning we drove onto the North York Moors for a cuppa. Having all facilities on board is so convenient especially now my hiking days are over. 

In a stark change to some of my recent images I thought I'd try my hand at landscape. In truth the post and chain caught my eye and the bird on top was a bonus. I believe it is a Meadow Pipit. 

In extras I have added my postcard for the stop. The Cleveland Way climbs up the the hill from the bottom right, an area known as Square Corner. I have marked the stop on the map.
