Northdale Wander

It was such a beautiful morning we decided on a short drive to Rosedale. To avoid the popular walks we walked up the quieter Northdale. Lots of very young lambs bleating for their Mums. We heard our first Curlew and Cuckoo as we walked.

We came back though the Rosedale valley which made an excellent circular walk. Managed to buy some very reasonable plants from a garden in the village. Aquilegia and Euphorbia now added to the growing collection in the back yard.

Back home I was about to tackle some more painting when I noticed a curtain rail needed attention. So remedial work was undertaken. Curtains now rehung.

Hoping the forecast rain tomorrow passes over during the night. Enjoy your bank holiday weekend.
