New read

I started this today and it's another I can hardly bear to put down.
Did a bit of gardening today and not much else. That consisted of repotting a plant (broom), sieving soil and finishing off the front lawn edge trim, removing a few weeds, spraying a few weeds at the end of the drive where it meets the pavement and setting up the new bird bath.
Terry had a peek in the new hedgehog house - the "nest" was even bigger and a hedgehog was fast asleep in there so he left in order to leave it settled.
A smaller hedgehog visited last evening - Terry saw it down the far end of the garden so we know we have at least three coming.
Phoned Mum to see how her arm is as she sustained a skintear on it recently and is going to the walk-in centre to have it dressed. She went today and apparently it's improving.
Daughter's appointment at the Skull Base Centre is on Thursday.
Had to postpone my shoulder injection due to GP telephone consultation not till 12th May so  I will be OK to go with Karen on Thursday.
Our forecast was for showers today but we had a few specks of rain at teatime and no more.
Update at 9pm - it's raining!
