I sat in my hide for awhile this afternoon, aka on Newt’s step, and enjoyed the live Treetop Tufted Titmouse Serenade, which included surround sound • Males actually sing more than females having up to ten songs in their repertoire. Although they sing most often during breeding season, they also sing songs to communicate with their titmice neighbors, and to tutor (teach) young males while in the nest. They’ll actually change their song if it’s the same one their neighbor’s are using to avoid confusion • They are the coolest birds • Hope you’re enjoying your Saturday and have a song in your heart today • Peace & Love!
