Suffragette Treasure!!

At Antiquarian book fair and had to blip this very rare little book……
Holloway Jingles….. a collection of poetry written by a group of Suffragettes who were imprisoned in Holloway in 1912 !
The poems were smuggled out of prison and published by the Glasgow branch of the Women’s Social and Political union ….
Very rare and cost thousands today ……so didn’t buy it …..just a blip and nice chat with
the dealer !
I did buy 3 guide books by RenaGardiner :a book about the Blues and a 1940s birthday present :-))
