Lunch box

When G got a John Deere riding mower for his birthday a few years ago, Renata thought it would be fun to get him a matching lunch box. She's bought him other John Deere trinkets as jokes - a hat, a couple of tiny toy tractors, a parking sign for JD tractors only.  I had to get something from the basement and spotted this. 
I secretly saved up for ages for the mower. It used to take G a couple of days to mow the field with the small mower, but he did get in a lot of steps! Now it takes much less time with no steps involved. He really resisted getting a riding mower but he sure appreciates it now!
It's been pouring all day so I only got out very briefly. I did take a photo of the cover I made for the tomato seedlings I bought yesterday, just to protect them until I plant them in pots. I turned an old garden stool upside down, covered it with a bit of plastic held on with clamps,  and it was just the right height for the tomatoes. Added it as an extra.
I got quite a bit of inside stuff done today while G was playing in a golf tournament. A good day for inside work, not a good one for golf. It's supposed to be better weather tomorrow for day 2 of the tournament. Hope so! I need to get out tomorrow too.
