The day after . . .

So yesterday was my birthday so what would be the logical thing to do today when Kent got home from work?!

We took a trip to visit the home place so that we could mark out what will be our private cemetery and decide where Kent & I will be buried.

Kent has a niece & a nephew that will also be buried there when the time comes.

This is a view of the “garden” behind the home place, where another of Kent’s nephews farm the land. This is where our cemetery will be.

While at the home place, we visited with Kent’s nephew who is living in the house right now. As a young child he lived there with Kent’s mum and he’s been living there again since she passed away.

We also visited with Kent’s sister and one of his nieces. While we were outside, several other family members drove by and stopped to talk a spell.

Once we got home again I planted some succulents and then started on my thank you cards. There’s not enough hours in the day.
