Dubrovnik

This place has been on my bucket list for years and today I was lucky enough to wake up in this wonderful city.

The day started well and early (5:45am) coming into port with a gorgeous sunrise behind the mountains

After a nice breakfast a 5 minute taxi ride got us into the centre of the walled city. A great place for views, people watching, eating and most importantly getting your steps in.

Claire and I walked the full perimeter of the city walls, actually up on them which gets pretty high in some places and quite scary. The views are totally worth putting in the effort though.

We rewarded ourselves with the most delicious gelato at the end.

I was a little overwhelmed for getting photographs and could have done with several days to absorb everything Dubrovnik has to offer.

Late afternoon we had a dip in the pool which was rather refreshing.
