Coppers on every corner...

...and no traffic.

It was eerily quiet on my way in to work this morning - most of the roads I walk down were closed to traffic for Thatcher's funeral. I didn't see much of the actual procession route, but there were plenty of policemen about - including these ones in their dress uniforms and white gloves.

It was nice but so odd with no cars - as my friend at work pointed out, you could actually hear people walking. It was just starting to give me goosebumps when I got to London Wall, but then I saw a load of cars again, heard a police siren and all was back to normal.
