Ai Wei Wei

Headed into Cambridge late morning and parked up eventually near Kettle's Yard and a coffee and cake before visiting the Ai Wei Wei exhibition. Into the city to do some shopping and have lunch. Also visited Hockney exhibition at Downing College - going to be speaking there in July for the Prince's Teaching Institute. Out to our hotel on the edge of the city centre. Cuppa, then walked into the city across Parker's Piece - through to Browns restaurant - a favourite of ours - for an evening meal, then wandered back in the last of the sun to the hotel to have a drink and watch a bit of telly. The hotel was much busier than I was expecting but apparently there is a big race meeting at Newmarket this weekend.
