Paddle Boarder and Swimmer

After a day out in Edinburgh yesterday it was an early start to get into the water. I was definitely thankful that I had just been drinking "No Alcohol" beers for the day as I reckon a good few of the lads must be suffering today.

With a bit of a breeze blowing and an ear infection as well, Bev decided to get her paddle board out whilst I stuck with the swim... Headed out about 700m before turning around.

Bev challenged me to a race back and being the "competitive type" I said yes.... Knowing fine well that I should get a hammering.

However as she was paddling into the wind I actually thought I had a chance to beat her as I could see she was working hard just to keep ahead .... However she pipped me to the post as we reached the shore.

A good laugh was had about it afterwards and as usual it was another grand day at Harperrigg Reservoir.
