Lunch

And it is May Day and the start of a new month! Where is the year disappearing?

We had a quiet morning and then met up with (EBCI) friends Pushpa and David for lunch. We've been telling them about Chicken Tikka Inn for ages. Today, they got to experience it, and I am relieved pleased to say that they thought the food was excellent. We chatted non-stop for four hours!

Home for a couple of hours, and then we went out again to get the car ready for a drive to Abu Dhabi tomorrow. I had wanted to do an oil change but the mechanic said I can wait a couple of weeks. Happy to note that the price of petrol has come down slightly this month!

We got home around 10 PM and G went straight to the kitchen to bake a cake to take with us tomorrow.
