Track maintenance

Mike has a day without jobs. So, he comes to repair the track. Meanwhile, Nick and Open begin stripping the cladding off the east face of the house. They’re on a half day for various reasons.

Come evening, I cycle to Peebles. Dinner at Osso (under new ownership - now a “small plates” restaurant), then late to Saanjh at the Eastgate. The table was great, as was the Indian singing, but I was less taken by the operatic/light programme vocals and atmospheric piano.
