My Great Niece...

...was confirmed this afternoon. Here she is with her brother and parents. Being her Godmother, I was so pleased to be invited and after the ceremony at church we went back to their house for dinner. There were lots of friends and family there, & I was happy to see my great niece's grandma, who I've seen many times over the years. Her husband was also "Tom"; her Tom passed away last October, and when she saw me she gave me a huge hug and said: "I'm so sorry about your Tom", to which I replied: "And I'm so very sorry about YOUR Tom". We talked a lot, and I think we both felt better for it. I didn't get home until late, and almost forgot to post this. :)
