Quill and ink

I found this feather (and others) whilst out bluebell spotting last week, l think it must have been the result of a fox having a fine meal of pheasant. I kept it feeling l must be able to use it in some way, Mono Monday this week seems a good enough cause so l made up a desk top still life for "anything literary". The hand held roller with Lloyds written on it is a blotter.
I tried out various settings including a few coloured ones to convert to b&w, the extra is one of these that l actually prefer to the mono - what do you think?
