Dangerous radicals
The day after is usually a bit subdued… Although given the level of celebrations that the Swedes put in to Walpurgis Night, the fact that some of them are on for a workers’ march on 1 May is commendable. For me, the part of the day when I felt best was when we walked from Malmo central station to R’s house, through the city centre and then through various suburbs. It was quite interesting, and the first time we had wandered through an unknown European city for a long time.
Otherwise….we met B for a quick coffee after breakfast, to catch up and find out more about their plans for coming to Edinburgh, and then once we arrived at R’s we sat around having bbq, chatting and occasionally dropping off… L had obviously had quite a big night… He didn’t surface at all until lunchtime, but found his way to R’s ok, getting a taxi from central station.
Back in Lund, we went with L, N and J for a quick meal and a drink. A glass of water for me. As I said, I felt progressively worse as the day went on. But that was fine. An early night sorted it out.
