The Lion and The Mouse
This is from a book called The Aesop for Children (illustrated by Milo Winter)
When my son and daughter were wee ones, I read them many stories. Aesop’s Fables were a good way to learn ‘em some lessons.
This is a good story about being kind. But also looking for nothing in return. But in this story, the unforeseen and reciprocated kindness is a fortuitous one.
Today I had a swim in a foggy foggy Bray where I actually heard a foghorn (never before in Bray)
Had a tasty lunch and studied for my end of year upcoming exams.
Thank you Chris for hosting MM and a great theme which made me dig into my personal literary archive
