Yuuummmmm ....

Friends who we used to live next door to some 35 years ago invited us to lunch today to meet their youngest granddaughter, Bodhi.  Such a delightful little girl and despite her teeth giving her some jip she was unphased by us and a joy to be around.  She certainly enjoyed some cooling yoghurt to ease those inflamed gums.  My children used to babysit Bodhi’s father and sister, so it was extra special to see what a good dad he’s turning out to be.
 
My eldest granddaughter, trainee Paediatric Nurse in Winchester has the dreaded Covid.  She did sound so poorly when I spoke to her today, but said she thinks the worst is over.  Poor girl has exams this week and back on wards next week – no time for convalescence.
