Great Dixter

visited Great Dixter , famous for its garden developed by Christopher Lloyd.  He introduced rather unconventional planting schemes and colour combinations (for example using bright orange and purple together) for the time but also some more gentle planting such as in the meadows. The gardens looked great but I must say I preferred the less strident colours such as in these tulips  and in the lovely pink poppies.
