John Graham-Gilbert was Glasgow's leading Victorian portrait painter. He lived at Yorkhill near Kelvingrove. His wife bequeathed his outstanding collection of Old Master paintings - including Rembrandt's Man in Armour - to Glasgow.
Back in the Gallery today to lead a guided tour for the first time since January 2020. It was surprisingly quiet for a public holiday but good to be there again.
