The Smithy

J and I went to visit the Pitstone Farm Museum - relatively local so a short journey.  Slower than normal though as we rode in our old Morris to add to the flavour of the occasion.  It was free entry for owners of vintage vehicles so we parked in a special field along with other vintage transport.  In the smithy, the Blacksmith was working at a few odds and ends.  

My attention span did not last long at the museum but J had a great time talking 'old engines' etc with like-minded men.  The museum is run totally with volunteers, so one mustn't be critical, but I couldn't help thinking that there was much more  potential!  An extra of an old child's tricycle - I can remember my brothers riding something similar!
