New life on the Judas tree

Bank holiday Monday. Rainy, but I didn't have plans. I read a kids' book (The Secret Hen House Theatre, by Helen Peters) and baked a batch of brownies, partly because there's a 'Do' tomorrow for GG's birthday. Attempted a jigsaw (too hard), listened to some podcasts, eventually went back to bed for a little rest. Fatal!

When I awoke, I finished my book, and then cooked supper  (spiced fish with rice and butter beans). Since then I've been lolling around watching TV and wondering what to wear to my new job tomorrow. 

I'm incredibly pleased that the so-called Old Timer, Ronnie O'Sullivan, won the Snooker world championship today. 46 is not Over the Hill!
