Family in the Graveyard

As Memorial Day approaches members of my family take time from their weekend to plant flowers on the graves of those who have gone before. It looks like a wide open space but we don't feel lonely because we're surrounded by family. You might think this would be a sad task, but the truth is that doing this makes me proud to be carrying on the tradition of honoring my ancestors.
These people, even the ones I never met, are all in me in some part. I'm often told by older family members that I'm displaying something passed down to me. And it was passed down to me from someone who probably had it passed down to him.
